I grew up in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago with the common midwestern dream of playing football at the University of Notre Dame. After getting my application rejected, I went to Indiana University in Bloomington to improve my grades and transfer to Notre Dame. After successfully transferring, I spent two seasons on the football team as a walk-on.
After graduation I came home to learn every aspect of my family’s small business from top to bottom. I later went to work on the legislative staff for Congressman Tony Cardenas. While working for Congressman Cardenas, I authored four original legislative bills ranging from increasing American worker mobility to protecting collegiate student-athletes.
After working on the Hill, I continued my academic pursuits earning a Master’s in Applied Economics from Georgetown University. I then moved back to Chicago and got an M.B.A from Northwestern University at night while working full time in the finance industry. Upon graduating with my MBA, I returned to work for my family’s small business.
